WELCOME!

So you've found my humble little blog! Maybe you'll stay awhile a read the whitterings of one confused creative, who struggles on a daily basis to channel all of the brilliant flashes of genius bouncing around inside her head into anything other than wasted moments!
If, like me, you are full of good intentions and bright ideas, but crushed by procrastination and indecision then maybe you will find something to make you smile in here. Or something to make you go and pick up that pencil!

SNOW BOUND

So, we have been snow bound here in Darlington now for a week. Looks beautiful out there...the town looks all clean and crisp and light, not the usual grey and soggy place we usually hold in our heads! But what has the drop in temperature down for the old creative productivity levels? Sweet FA at the moment! In a bid to keep warm I am wrapped in so many layers of clothes...vest, T-shirt, jumper and then massive, thick woolly jumper...that movement is a little slower than usual. Hands and fingers are a little too cold for delicate work. All energy is geared to keeping warm!

I do have a huge list of things I need to be getting on with, though. I had an order last week for one of my Crystal rings. That was made without a problem, but the gift box to put it in...Why do we always put off doing the mundane, boring jobs? The ones that really do need doing! I need to make up a big batch of boxes. They always go really well, and I have an idea for some gift bags too. They would take me no time at all once I got started...but it's so warm here snuggled up talking to you, and it's so cold down there in the work room... The ring is done. That's the main thing, isn't it?
